Mixed Media Angel Painting

Just looking back at some old photos and I came across this painting. I painted it for an artist event at UICA in Grand Rapids, MI. I am not sure who ended up with this piece, but I really enjoyed painting it. It conveys a very bitter sweet feeling or perhaps a sense of worry. I am not really sure what I was feeling at the time other than I knew the eyes were rather sad, so naturally the tears came. They are large arn't they?
